Product Description
The c-erbB-2 oncoprotein is in the epidermal growth factor receptor family. These receptors are overexpressed in various adenocarcinomas
including that from the gastrointestinal tract, ovary, and up to 30% of breast carcinomas. Overexepression in breast carcinoma has been shown
to be associated with a poor prognosis. Similar observations have been made in the case of osteosarcoma, gastric carcinoma, and bladder
carcinoma.
